HYDRANT FLUSHING
The Curran-Gardner Townships Public Water District staff will be flushing the hydrants in our distribution system throughout the month of October, 2023. This is done to remove any sediment buildup as well as allowing us to check our hydrants for proper operation.
Flushing will sometimes cause your drinking water to become cloudy but it should clear up in a short time. We ask that you run your water to check for water clarity before washing clothing. Your water pressure may also be lower during the flushing in your area but will return to normal when flushing is completed.
